Frozen, images taken on a winter weekend at the Fusine lakes in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

From Wikipedia:
The Fusine Lakes (Lâgs di Fusinis in Friulian [1], Weißenfelser Seen, in German, Belopeška jezera in Slovenian), are a complex of two small lakes, the Upper Lake and the Lower Lake, located a short distance l from each other in the territory of the municipality of Tarvisio (fraction of Fusine Laghi, Friuli-Venezia Giulia), and considered among the most beautiful examples of an Alpine lake.

I agree that they are two magnificent lakes. Both indoors and in summer they offer unique colors, with the emerald green tones of their backdrop. They are perhaps less well known than Lake Braies in Trentino, and for this reason they are much calmer and with “relatively” fewer tourists (obviously avoiding the holidays of the year or the busiest weekends).
