Portrait photography in the studio testing the Samsung 60mm f/2.8 macro lens

In this blog post, I’m going to cover some portrait photography shoot in the studio with Fotini, a greek girl.

For this photo session, I’ve tried the Samsung 60mm macro lens with the mirrorless Samsung Nx-20: I found the two a great combination!

All macro lens are usually very sharp, and this Samsung 60mm Macro follows the tradition. Almost all the picture was shot at the maximum aperture of f/2.8.

I’ve used a big softbank light (1m x 80cm) in the studio, lighting mainly on the right of the subject. There was no bouncing light on the right cause I want to get a good contrast in the final images.

For the editing, I’ve used Lightroom, I’ve developed the picture creating the color balance and contrast; then I added a subtle blue tint.
