Pitti Immagine Uomo is twice a year a fixed appointment in the studio agenda: the possibility to collaborate with Pitti Immagine organization lead us to develop the #instapitti project you can check in the previous post.
In this post, I want to share my diary’s picture of the four days spent in Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence.
It has been a very warm edition, but still, all the attendees were perfectly dressed matching the best outfit and colors of the season.
It’s always nice to meet back the friends of the previous editions and share the thoughts and idea of the collections.
Technically speaking the photos has been shot with my two main Fujifilm camera: one one shoulder the X-Pro2 with the 35mm f/1.4, on the other one the X-T2 with the 56mm f/1.2. This is almost my standard setup for Pitti Immagine Uomo since I can achieve almost all the portrait and details photos.
But for this edition, I’ve used a lens I own and honestly I’m not using quite often: the 50-140mm f/2.8. We all know that is an excellent zoom lens, but I tend to not carry with me usually due of the weight. This time, some of my friends asked to photograph them while they are walking inside the main entrance of the fair, so the long focal length of 140mm ( the equivalent of 200mm on full frame) has helped me a lot to achieve the result. You can see the cover photo shot with the Fujifilm 50-140mm f/2.8
Bonus: girls in Pitti Immagine Uomo
The male fashion fair of Pitti Immagine Uomo is not only about men: there’s a lot of ladies around that I’ve captured in this small gallery:
