Happy 2019! A new begin!

Happy 2019! A new begin!

Posted on Jan 2nd, 2019

With this post I want to wish you all a joyful new year!

I want to start just sharing the first photos I’ve shot yesterday here in Florence. Sometimes I feel very lucky to live in this beautiful city and be able and take some pictures with all the amazing art we’ve all around.

As some of you may notice, I’ve started to change my website and blog. You now find a complete and cleaner graphic: for this year I’ve removed my red banner ’cause I want to focus more the attention to the colors in the photos. Then there’s a redesign of the blog, that in general, I think it works better.

Another new thing that is now active on the blog is the new photo galleries. If you notice on the home or on the photography page, all the galleries are perfectly responsive on any device (desktop, smartphone and tablet) and they are high resolution so you can zoom on the details. On the smartphone the gallery works as a photo gallery app, you can pinch to zoom or double tap to zoom in and out, drag a finger to get out of the current photo and so on. I hope you will enjoy these changes!

The photos you see here have been shot with the Fujifilm X100T. I’ve developed them using Capture One Pro 12. How many of you are using the new Capture One, and what do you think about the support of the Fujifilm color simulation? (although I’ve to say that strangely there’s no support of color presets for the “old” X100T I’ve used…)

Next that will come: my online store for prints and the store for Lightroom presets and online classes!

Let me know what you think about these changes and once again: happy new year!!

Keep up the good work and good luck for 2019.
