Fashion portraits in low light in Florence
It is always a pleasure to take photos for Defustel in Florence during the Pitti Immagine Uomo fashion week.
He asked me for images that were natural, using the light from the streets of Florence. Being Pitti Uomo immediately after the Christmas and New Year celebrations, we still find the illuminations on the main streets such as in Via de Tornabuoni.
We also took photos inside a new restaurant with a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere: the perfect setting for a little relaxation with a Scotch before taking photos with the evening tuxedo!

Portrait photo session: technical notes
I’ve shot the photos using the Fujifilm X-T4 and the X-Pro3. Thanks to the inbody sensor stabilization on the X-T4 I was able to use quite a lower shutter speed compared to the X-Pro3. I’ve used two lenses: the 56mm f/1.2 on the X-T4 and the 23mm f/1.4 on the X-Pro3.
