16 Mar Carlotta, portrait session in the studio in Florence
Posted on Mar 16, 2017
Carlotta is a fashion designer and a well-known presence on the local Florence’s Television. I took these portrait photos in my studio using the flashlight.
The set up has changed during the session since I’ve started with one big Softbank set on the side of the model to go for a frontal beauty dish + fill soft bank. In some pictures, I’ve added a bit of smoke to separate the model from the black backdrop.
For this session, I’ve used the Fujifilm X-T2 with the 56mm f/1.2. It’s almost my favorite lens in this period: I love the quality of the bokeh and the sharpness even at the brighter apertures!
